Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts, and maximising sustainable and profitable growth in phase with regional strategies. Deliver against seasonal and yearly targets getting orders on time managing the process with customers.

This role involved 20% – 30% travelling time across the different territories where the company’s offices are located.

Strategy:

Contribute into the development of the 1- and 3-year Marketplace Distribution and Strategic Sales Plan. The 1-year plan should contain channel and account growth plans, key city distribution plans and critical resources needed.

Business Development:

Actively participate in the implementation of the 1- and 3-year Marketplace Distribution and Strategic Sales by developing new clients and maintaining Partner Relations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain strong business partnerships with accounts
  • Effectively lead and manage the accounts to achieve sustainable revenue growth
  • Consult accounts overall business status
  • Build the account development plan by dimension and tier
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional team (Sales/Retail/Marketing/)
  • Develop timely and accurate forecasts (volume and OTB) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Ensure account order process is observed and orders are sent and received on time
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant company divisions
  • Be continually updated on latest Brand product trends and assortment lines
  • Understand country and key city retail landscape (consumers, retailers, pricing, competitors) and Brands competitive positioning: (shelf space, quality of presentation, customer strategies)

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Accounts seasonal and annual sell-in volume targets
  • Accounts seasonal and annual sell-in profitability targets (GP target)
  • Meeting timelines

Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Sales experience from sporting goods, fashion, consumer goods or consulting industries
  • Analytical skills and experience of working with strategy and analytics
  • Personal Leadership and high collaboration skills working with various stakeholders
  • A self-starter who excels in both team and individual work environments
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Practise sports
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other statistical analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
