New Crocs concept store opens in Sliema – Malta’s top shopping destination
A brand-new Crocs store opened its doors in Bisazza street, Sliema – Malta’s main shopping hot spot. The store, following the brand’s latest European design standard, stocks a variety of comfortable footwear for all the family such as the original Crocs’ classic clogs, flip flops as well as stylish translucent and tie-dye clogs. For summer, the sought-after kids’ sandals, and clogs will also be available– practical for summer school and carefree weekends by the beach.

Demand for Crocs is “stronger than ever” across the world. In 2021, sales rose 64% to $460m in the first quarter compared to the same period last year. Crocs has also focused on growing online sales, which rose by 75.3% in the first quarter and made of a third of total sales for the period.
The company’s strategy includes social media promotion, with #crocs having gained 1.6 billion views on TikTok, where so-called influencers post videos dancing around in the shoes or showing how they style their footwear.
Crocs has also become a favourite among healthcare workers too, thanks to the Crocs 2020 initiative. Last year, the footwear company donated over 86,000 pairs of their comfy clogs to “healthcare heroes” amid the pandemic.
To celebrate the launch of this new store in Sliema, opening offers were enjoyed by those who visited the store and made a purchase. A lively atmosphere was created in-store for the occasion with balloons and merriment for all the family.
