Project Management Analyst

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management Analyst to support our newly established Project Management Office (PMO). This role will focus on managing smaller projects, assisting the Head of PMO in coordinating larger projects and programs and supporting the department’s daily operations and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

 Key Accountabilities:

Project & Program Support

  • Manage and oversee smaller projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Assist the Head of PMO in coordinating larger projects and programs by tracking deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination across multiple projects.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and communication.
  • Help prepare program-level reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

PMO Operations & Support

  • Assist the Head of PMO in daily administrative and operational activities.
  • Develop and maintain PMO documentation, templates, and standardized processes.
  • Support governance and compliance activities by ensuring adherence to project management standards.
  • Monitor and report on key project and PMO performance metrics.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

  • Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery and PMO efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions and contribute to knowledge management within the PMO.

KPIs

  • Project Delivery Rate – Percentage of smaller projects completed on time and within scope.
  • Project Documentation Compliance – Adherence to PMO documentation and reporting standards.
  • Support for Larger Projects & Programs – Efficiency and effectiveness in assisting the Head of PMO with coordination and execution.
  • PMO Report Accuracy & Timeliness – Quality and punctuality of project reports and dashboards.

Core Competencies, Experience, and Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or PMO-related roles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMI).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in program coordination or supporting large-scale projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
