Purpose of the Job

Responsible for providing timely and accurate data and insight to support the decision-making needs of our territories and customers to drive our business growth in Africa.

The Business Analyst will work within the Africa commercial team to deliver growth to net (sharing proactively ‘At Once’ opportunities to fill the business gap by brands) as well as a smooth operational data flow.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Drive the annual and seasonal sales forecast workshops by collecting, consolidating, and reporting data from the in-country sales teams and clients
  • Profitability analysis and reporting within the Africa Sales team
  • Analyse orders and review KPIs to report to sales teams
  • Proactively develop and analyse reports, identify, and recommend opportunities for improvements that increase profitability or efficiency.
  • Effectively communicates findings and presents proposals to business stakeholders with a comprehensive risk and impact assessment
  • Collaborate with Brand teams to share, track and recover ‘At Once’ opportunities
  • Identify and escalate any problems with the current business model

  • Deliver net sales with customers and support and track offers made to territories

Experience, Skills and Knowledge required

  • Proven experience in sales; experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Practise sports
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other statistical analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
  • Fluent in French and English both verbal and written communication
