Role Purpose: The role of a Supply chain administrator centres on supporting the wider supply chain team with required administrative duties such as tracking deliveries, processing order confirmations, managing the administration of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory management, reporting and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.
  • The submission of all ‘direct purchase’s’ POs with suppliers.  This to fulfil internal & external demand, while maintaining adequate service levels.
  • Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively.  This while liaising with all relevant departments within the organization.
  • Review Supplier order books and report any changes to the required stakeholders.
  • Managing and monitoring of Direct Purchases PO’s.
  • Analyse data sent by suppliers and prepare data for data entry
  • Creation of PO’s, inbound & outbound shipments within the ERP.
  • Monitor the execution of different order types within the ERP.
  • Monitor all the different inventory transactions within the ERP.
  • Assisting in the execution of Inventory counting and periodical cycle counts.
  • Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company’s quality requirements.
  • Liaise with all the functions within the Supply chain for the smooth execution of all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Communicating informed risks within the business to key stakeholders.  This through adequate reporting and data.
  • Taking part in the Supplier evaluation process.
  • Maintain Supplier terms on the ERP.
  • Manage the administration of all reverse logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals in the implementation of new applications impacting any supply chain flow.

Requirements:

  • 2 Years’ experience in s similar role within Supply Chain.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems.
  • Able to review and analyse data.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a must.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
