Onboard sports teams and nurseries in addition to maintaining a strong business relation with stakeholders; To execute all activities necessary to the efficient operation of the store, to ensure the provision of prompt and courteous service to all customers to maximize sales and customer service to promote the company’s image of quality and professionalism

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Sports Team Sales Rep

  • Onboard sports teams and nurseries in addition to maintaining a strong business relation with stakeholders
  • Onboard new Sports teams and clubs to be sponsored by Hudson sports brands
  • Negotiate and close off deals/contracts.
  • Attend to all requests of existing teams/clubs/nurseries pertaining to kit needs
  • Attend to all daily needs of existing clubs/nurseries
  • Attend to all teams’ enquiries
  • Send quotes and offers to all sports teams
  • Manage stocks and printing of team stock
  • Manage stocks levels in conjunction with Intersport retail management

In-Store Duties:

Liaise with clients in all areas of sales, providing a highly personalised approach;

  • Meet set sales targets
  • Stock, replenish and clean sales areas;
  • Assist client with product selection;
  • Process payments of various kinds;
  • Offer guidance and suggest products specific to customers’ needs and requirements;
  • Deal with customer complaints;
  • Utilise specialist product knowledge;
  • Monitor and update display areas.
  • Count and balance cash register and receipts.
  • Check inventory listing with actual inventory on shelf and report discrepancies
  • Ensure shop is always clean and tidy and displays are attractive

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail stores

  • Ability to work well under pressure
