Marketing Events Executive

Role purpose:  Responsible to produce events from conception through to completion, ensuring outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations. Events may include conferences, cultural events, sporting events, exhibitions and fairs, fundraising and social events, music festivals, parties, promotions and product launches.

Key accountabilities:

  • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits and budgets;
  • Work closely with internal customers to identify their needs, the scope of events, budget and to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Scout locations for events;
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to presenting to manager for approval;
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders;
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality;
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, sound and video systems, any other equipment, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, promotional material etc;
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations;
  • Ensure clean-ups are organised after every event;
  • Specify and source internal staff support requirements and coordinate their activities;
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize events;
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day;
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes;
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest
  • Gain a keen understanding of partner/sponsor business, for their partnership with the company, and develop compelling marketing and activation programs to maximize the partnership value.
  • Manage partnership communications, including regular outreach calls/meetings, recap meetings and presentations
  • Further the renewal and partner growth efforts by fulfilling all elements within partnership deals.

Sports Team Representative Responsibilities:

  • Onboard sports teams and nurseries in addition to maintaining a strong business relation with stakeholders
  • Onboard new Sports teams and clubs to be sponsored by Hudson sports brands
  • Negotiate and close off deals/contracts.
  • Attend to all requests of existing teams/clubs/nurseries pertaining to kit needs
  • Send quotes and offers to all sports teams
  • Manage stocks levels in conjunction with Intersport retail management

  • Fluent in Maltese & English
