Role purpose: Responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
- Contribute into the development of the 1 and 3 year Marketplace Distribution and Strategic Sales Plan. 1 year plan should contain channel and account growth plans, key city distribution plans and critical resources needed;
- Lead and implement the sales & category strategy for our most strategic retail partners to maximize profitability for the company and the account;
- Actively participate in the implementation of the 1 and 3 year Marketplace Distribution and Strategic Sales by developing new clients and maintaining Partner Relations;
- Maintain strong business partnership with accounts;
- Effectively lead and manage the accounts to achieve sustainable revenue growth;
- Consult accounts overall business status;
- Build the account development plan by dimension and tier;
- Co work with cross functional team (Sales/Retail/Marketing);
- Develop timely and accurate forecasts (volume and OTB) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year;
- establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts;
- Present and sell seasonal product collections to customers;
- Ensure account order process is observed and orders are sent and received on time;
- Manager order book through retail KPI performance management;
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations;
- Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant company divisions;
- Be continually updated on latest Brand product trends and assortment lines;
- Understand country and key city retail landscape (consumers, retailers, pricing, competitors) and Brands competitive positioning: (shelf space, quality of presentation, customer strategies);
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Sales experience from sporting goods, consumer goods or consulting industries
- Analytical skills and experience of working with analytics and strategy
- Personal leadership and high collaboration skills
- A self-starter who excels in both team and individual working environment’s
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluent in French and English both verbal and written communication
