Brand managers act as the ‘brand guardian’, responsible to build and implement sustainable plans that maintain brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth through retail and wholesale distribution, promote the brand marketing initiatives and communications and may manage a portfolio of products.

Short description of responsibilities:

  • Set the Brand strategy
  • Preparation of business plan and forecast
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Competitor and customer insights analysis
  • Map the market and create differentiated merchandising plans and product assortments by country/channel;
  • Manage relationship with the Brand/s;
  • Responsible for P&L of brand including pricing strategy working with country teams on establishing and achieving targets;
  • Manage the budget for advertising and promotional items
  • Ensure implementation of Brand/s strategies at country level;
  • Participate to brand seasonal meetings bringing back Marketing, Product and Sales initiatives that will be translated into Go to Market strategies for Retail and Wholesale;
  • analyse sell out and ensure buy is in line with trends and expectations;
  • Builds, and delivers marketing calendar and plan to be executed by all countries;
  • Planning of all communications and media actions on all channels
  • Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
  • Ensure the country teams execute all planned relevant marketing activities;

you would:

  • possess a degree in Business or equivalent
  • have an understanding of retail and be passionate for fashion and sports
  • possess strong commercial knowledge and planning and time-management skills
  • be able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • be highly skilled at communicating ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • possess excellent spoken and written English and French
  • be proficient Excel and Power point users
  • be able to think creatively and innovatively
