IT Network and Security Administrator

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Network and Security Administrator, your role will be to plan, implement and administrate IT systems, management and troubleshooting of security infrastructure and network devices. You will document functional specifications and processes, proposing improvements to current processes in relation to Systems and Network security matters.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Implement and administer Network and Security Infrastructure
• Administer and troubleshoot network devices and security infrastructure
• Maintain the technical and system documentation
• Implement IT security systems and services
• Proposing technical solutions for new technologies
• Support the IT team
• Revise and improve existing security infrastructure

Skills / Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience as Systems Administrator / Network Engineer
• Proven experience in IT Security: knowledge of security management systems and next generation firewalls
• One or more Security and/or Cloud certifications from Industry leader showing competencies in cloud infrastructures such as Azure, AWS, etc
• Implementation experience with commercial security solutions such as web application firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, DDOS mitigation;
• Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto
