Role purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Services Manager, as the Group Digital Marketing and Content Lead, you will develop and implement a dynamic, multi-platform content strategy. In this role, you will manage editorial calendars, drive innovative content creation, and ensure alignment with broader business and marketing objectives. Marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and engagement across all channels.

 The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals and target audience preferences.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of content that aligns with marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and align content with broader marketing and business initiatives.
  • Assess content pools for marketing and e-commerce purposes, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer needs for www.hudsonstore.com.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including but not limited to website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure all content maintains consistency with brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
  • Ecommerce content enrichment and creation of designs and promos for www.hudsonstore.com.
  • Collaborate with other team members to produce cohesive and effective content: Video, and design.
  • Monitor and analyze content and advertising performance using relevant metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Generate video and graphic content for distribution across channels, maximizing reach and engagement.
  • Explore new platforms and technologies to expand the organization’s content presence
  • Enforce quality control measures to ensure all content meets established standards and resonates with the target audience.
  • Online and In-store marketing for Hudson Store in 360 Campaign management, social media, advertising, influencers and content creation.

KPIs

  • Maintaining high engagement for social media (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). 
  • Timely achievement of 85%+ of the calendar activations across group level.
  • Budget management for content creation. 

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

  • Preferably certified in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in content strategy development and execution, experience in e-com content (product and editorial) 
  • Experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. 
  • Some Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, After Effects) is a plus. 
  • Creative production experience. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with engagement and content analytics tools. 
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to think outside of the box
