Job Summary:

As a Training Specialist representing NIKE, your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on wholesale and retail processes and best practices. You will work closely with NIKE’s sales teams, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively represent and promote NIKE products in wholesale and retail environments. Your expertise in the industry and passion for delivering impactful training will contribute to enhancing the overall performance and success of NIKE and its partners.

Responsibilities:

  • The role is responsible for leading the product, store operations & store services training strategy across the countries.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to ensure the team are set up to deliver Service & Store Excellence.
  • Develop Training Programs: Collaborate with NIKE’s wholesale and retail teams to assess training needs and design effective training programs aligned with the company’s objectives and best practices. This includes product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, visual merchandising, inventory management, and any other relevant areas.
  • Deliver Training Sessions: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for NIKE’s employees, sales representatives, and retail partners. Utilize various training methodologies such as presentations, workshops, role-plays, simulations, and online learning platforms to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and visually appealing training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and e-learning modules. Regularly update the content to reflect the latest trends, industry standards, following NIKE’s guidelines.
  • Onboarding and New Hire Training: Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires in wholesale and retail positions. Ensure that new employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to represent NIKE effectively.
  • Training Evaluation and Feedback: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback sessions, and performance metrics. Continuously improve the training content and delivery methods based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Industry Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry. Leverage this knowledge to enhance training programs and provide valuable insights to NIKE’s teams and partners.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with NIKE’s sales teams, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure alignment between training objectives and business goals. Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in wholesale and retail processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role, preferably in the wholesale and retail industry.
  • Great teammate and strong experience working in a collaborative multicultural work environment.
  • Deep understanding of wholesale and retail processes, best practices, and trends.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Experience in developing and delivering both in-person and online training programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to deliver training sessions at various locations.
