Position Summary & Objectives
This role will be an integral part of the E-Commerce team, which is responsible for Hudson’s Digital sales Channels , merging retail and ecommerce under one single umbrella.
The Specialist Product Information Management will strategically enhance product information data to ensure the effective Go-To-Market process. Primary responsibilities will include maintaining and managing all product information data based on global content standards, always considering the best practices and tools within the SEO practice.
Objectives
- Ensure on-time & on-quality availability of all required product master data in PIM system.
- Coordination of all PIM workflows and feeds.
- Compile & align E-Commerce assortment (i.e. sum of regional e-Commerce assortments) to inform PDP content provision.
- Work closely with Manager Content Management to implement product/category-specific content strategies.
- Execute the photography, copy writing and master data provision process and workflow in cooperation with the global content team.
- Troubleshoot ad-hoc copy and photography requirements/issues.
- Monitor process which ensures all content is available at the right time and quality.
- Responsible for the translation production process.
- Responsible for documentation of all regions relevant master data processes.
- Conduct final completeness & quality check and ensure availability of all product photography on server and sites.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities and derive conclusions for the growth and optimization of Hudson’s digital activities.
- Optimize SEO and gather insights about Hudson’s brand(s) awareness and ecommerce performance.
KPIs and qualitative measures
- On-site conversion rate – as KPI for all eComm team members
- Content updates on time
- Landing pages preparations on time
- 100% completion for on-site content, e.g. photos and descriptions/translations for product catalogue
- Content preps for promotions or any other sales-driven activities
- SEO traffic share and CR
Qualification & Functional Competencies
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant area.
Experience
- At least 1-2+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel proficient).
- Experience with web-based content management systems (Shopify, Magento).
- Experience with PIM system a plus.
- Basic skills in HTML and XML as well as image editing tools.
- Strong affinity towards eCommerce
- Strong communication skills – you should be able to adapt your message to your audience, be it developers or executives
- 1-2 years of experience in traffic generation, in-house or at a leading traffic agency.

- Fluent in ENGLISH (2nd language is a plus).
