This Pink October, Kiabi together with Hudson launched an awareness building campaign to raise funds for the research fund called Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT). In collaboration with Europa Donna, the fund provides scholarships to PhD students to continue furthering in the field of cancer research. The campaign tells the story of people effected by cancer – including survivors as well as their closest friends and family.
ABOUT THE RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT TRUST
Throughout the month of October, all donations received will be directed towards supporting the scholarship program administered by the Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) at the University of Malta. This initiative is managed by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and overseen by Prof. Godfrey Grech from the Department of Pathology and Prof. Therese Hunter from the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry. Each year the renowned fashion retailer, extends its commitment to the cause of breast cancer awareness by actively retailing the Pink October collection within its outlets situated in the Mediterranean island of Malta.
