As the official distributor of Nike in Morocco and various parts of Africa, Hudson’s presence at this event was not only an honor but also a pivotal opportunity to showcase the group’s dedication to the future of sport in Morocco.

Sporting Club Casablanca

Sporting Club Casablanca is one of Morocco’s leading women’s football club that competes in the Moroccan Women’s Championship. Founded in 2019, the club has swiftly risen through the ranks, achieving promotion to the first division within the first two seasons, and achieving an incredible third place finish in their inaugural season during 2021-22.

A Day of Celebration and Collaboration

The contract signing between Nike and Sporting Club Casablanca was more than just a formal procedure; it was a celebration of shared values, ambitions, and a vision for the future. Our team, represented by Magdy Salama, General Manager of Nike and Hudson Morocco, and Marwa Oubenyahia, Nike’s Brand Manager, played a central role in this occasion.

Ms. Oubenyahia expressed what this partnership meant on a personal level. As a woman and a brand manager, she highlighted the profound significance of this collaboration in empowering women in sports. Her words resonated deeply, underscoring Hudson’s commitment to creating an inclusive and empowering environment for everyone involved.

Strategic Insights and Future Plans

Yassine Amar, Hudson’s Marketing Executive for Sports Brands in Morocco, provided invaluable insights into the marketing strategies that will drive this partnership forward. He painted a vivid picture of the future, filled with activations, events, and community engagements that will bring our shared mission to life. The potential for growth and impact was palpable, leaving everyone inspired and eager for what lies ahead.

Hudson was also thrilled to meet the club’s captain, the president, and the vice-president. These discussions were rooted in a shared commitment to empowering women and promoting inclusivity in sports.

A Promising Future

The professionalism and enthusiasm displayed by all parties set the tone for what promises to be a fruitful collaboration. This contract signing is more than just a business agreement—it’s a step towards a brighter future for Moroccan sports, one that Hudson is proud to be part of.

“Let’s continue to channel this energy and commitment into everything we do, as we work towards a future where sports are not just a game but a powerful force for change and empowerment.” expressed Mr Salama.

Women empowerment through Nike

Nike has significantly increased its investment in women’s sports, both at the professional and grassroots levels. This includes sponsorship deals with major female athletes and teams, as well as support for women’s leagues around the world. Nike has also developed and launched products specifically designed to meet the needs of female athletes. This includes sports bras, footwear, and apparel that cater to the unique physical and performance needs of women. For example, Nike introduced the first-ever sports hijab for Muslim athletes, empowering more women to participate in sports while staying true to their cultural values.
