Ted Baker is opening his first store in the Mediterranean island of Malta, the new store will be located in the popular shopping destination, The Point Shopping Mall. This is the perfect home for a Ted Baker store that’ll take visitors on a unique, cinematic adventure.
The 200 sq. m. store takes inspiration from Malta’s position as a popular filming location and Ted’s passion for all things related to the big (and small) screen. After hearing that some of his favourite British flicks had been filmed on the island at the Malta Film Studios, he packed up his vintage cameras and set sail.
He’s travelled to set up his own production studios, hoping to replicate the success of local Pinewood studios in London on the spectacular island with a fun, Ted twist. The store is a mix of a London stage set complete with pub scene, market stalls, lamp posts, and terraced houses and a backstage film set with recording equipment dressing rooms, hanging stage sets, pullys, wires, cables and supports. As with Ted’s clothing, no detail is left unconsidered and the store has unique, hidden touches throughout.
The new store will house Ted’s menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessory collections.
Ted Baker is represented by Hudson, a retailer and distributor of leading fashion and sport brands in Malta, Spain and North Africa.
