Customers seeking Alcott’s Menswear can now access this hip, quality brand in Fgura directly below the current New Look store on the centrally located Zabbar Road. This shop-in-shop, operated by Hudson Group, follows the launch of the full-blown Alcott outlet which first opened its doors in The Landmark, Qormi in 2019. The Italian high street brand leads with affordable wear for the youth and young adults and is a combination of the ‘college’ US tradition and Italian quality.
The shop-in-shop, occupying an area of over 114sqm, will exclusively feature men’s clothing. The launch was celebrated with the presence of DJ Carlo and refreshments. Customers were welcomed on a red carpet and could participate in a prize draw for all customers purchasing products over the weekend.
Alcott was initially launched to serve a male client base, however, in 2000 a womenswear collection was introduced, and contributed to 30% of the brand’s overall revenue. In 2015, to reach a wider customers’ audience, the Alcott Premium collection was created, dedicated to a more mature male audience.
The brand targets a demanding and strongly communicative audience: Millennials and Centennials who are young and dynamic, passionate about technology, music, social network and sustainability.
The brand was founded in 1990 in Naples, Italy and currently seeks to expand within Europe and India.
