Throughout the month of October, all donations received will be directed towards supporting the scholarship program administered by the Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) at the University of Malta. This initiative is managed by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and overseen by Prof. Godfrey Grech from the Department of Pathology and Prof. Therese Hunter from the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry. During Pink October, you’ll often see iconic pink ribbons, landmarks illuminated in pink, and various fundraising events and activities. The pink ribbon has become a symbol of solidarity and hope for breast cancer survivors and patients worldwide.
