As part of its ongoing commitment to create a positive impact within the community, Kiabi, represented in Malta, Cyprus and Greece by Hudson Group, has donated women’s clothing and undergarments to Women for Women, Foundation as part of a collaboration effort with Victim Support Malta to support victims of sexual assault.
This initiative forms part of Kiabi Malta’s CSR programme, inspired by the brand’s global ethos of “Acts for a Better World”, which aims to support people in need and foster greater inclusivity, care, and compassion within society.
Through this contribution, Kiabi hopes to ease the burden on victims of sexual assault supported by Victim Support Malta.
Speaking about this initiative, Group Marketing Specialist at Hudson, Estelle Spiteri said,“At Kiabi Malta we are advocates for supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. With this donation we hope to have a positive impact in the lives of these survivors.”
Speaking of behalf of Women for Women Foundation, Francesca Fenech Conti explained how “without corporate support and collaboration of this kind, NGOs such as the Women for Women Foundation and Victim Support Malta would not be able to continue our work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault”.
Julianne Grima, Executive chairperson of Victim Support Malta, thanked Kiabi for this generous support; “After trauma, small acts of kindness matter enormously. Thanks to the generosity of Hudson Group, victims of sexual assault can leave hospital wrapped not only in fresh clothing, but in dignity, care, and compassion”.
This ethos is shared by Hudson Group’s foundation – The Hudson Foundation which is dedicated to improving the lives of children, families and vulnerable communities across its four main pillars: children, the environment, animals and most recently art. With headquarters in Malta, Hudson represents Sport and Fashion brands across Southern Europe and Africa.
The Women for Women Foundation is a women run NGO VO1961 that works hand in hand with social workers, helping vulnerable survivors of domestic violence, single mothers and their children. Women for Women accept monthly donations, if you want to offer your support and donate, you can do so here.
