In just under a year of opening the first Nike Flagship store in Nigeria, Hudson Brand Development Nigeria opens another Nike store. This new store marks a significant addition to the Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, a flourishing shopping destination in the city.
The store spans an area just over 500m² offering lines for men and women with a wide range for running, football, basketball and sportswear and training as well as additional lines for kids and Jordan.
The store offers consumers a great balance between quality and price. It’s specifically directed at a target consumer that is not only value driven, but increasingly demanding high quality and both performance and lifestyle orientated goods at these more affordable prices.
The grand opening drew partners, influencers and customers and featured engaging activities where attendees participated in games, with various winners earning complimentary Nike merchandise.
The store will take the form of a Nike Value Store, offering various styles for individuals from all walks of life. Leading the launch, Kieran Murphy, the General Manager of Hudson Brand Development Nigeria, guided guests through an exclusive tour of the store. Notably, a multitude of influencers were in attendance, sharing their insights and admiration for the Nike brand.
Groovy, a model and influencer stated “You just have to love Nike. I grew up aspiring to own many Nike products because a lot of my idols, like Ronaldo, wore their products, so I am super excited about this store; it’s a spacious facility. Plus, it’s so close to my house, and right now I have seen so many shoes I would love to buy.”
Fitness coach and influencer, Okunsaga ‘Saga’ Adeolu said, “I am so happy that Nike is just a stone’s throw from my house. I would literally just throw a stone, and a shoe would fall off. I love Nike products, and I have always loved Air Jordans because I am a huge basketball fan and Michael Jordan fan, so to be here at the store launch in Lekki is such an incredible opportunity.”
Model and influencer Tovia said, “I have always been a big fan of Nike and its aesthetic, plus the catchphrase, ‘Just Do It’. I visited the Ikeja store and got a couple of things, but I wanted to go back but couldn’t because of the distance, so I am happy it’s opening in Lekki.”
