VANS reinforced its international presence with the opening of its first 3.0 store in Africa, in Casablanca, Morocco. The brand was previously distributed in Morocco through Urban Jungle Stores – Hudson’s concept store presenting the best in street apparel and footwear.
The VANS store opening was possible thanks to Hudson Morocco, who represent Nike, Converse, UJ, Mango, Tommy, CK, Vans, Crocs , North Face, Columbia, and Champion within the African country. The 127m² store is located on the first floor of the prime location of Anfaplace Mall, and offers a large selection of footwear, accessories and apparel for women, men & Kids. It is further enriched by capsule collections dedicated to skateboard and surf lovers. The concept of this store, named 3.0, is the latest concept developed by the brand to ensure the best shopping experience for its customers.
American brand VANS was established in 1966 and specializes in skateboarding shoes and any related apparel. The sole of the shoes has an iconic look, resembling a waffle sole. In the early years, the brand used to associate every shoe style with a specific number instead of a name. In 1997 the Vans #36 debuted as the Old Skool and is considered the hallmark shoe of the entire brand. The Vans #98, the classic slip-on line became so popular that its silhouette has become the iconic logo for the company. The twilight star Kristen Stewart wore a pair of checkerboard Slip-Ons to cement her footprint on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and so the waffle sole will be there for millions of people to see..
