A beam of light is a graphic element that highlights faces, details, shapes and materials. The new advertising campaign for A|X Armani Exchange, photographed by Thue Nørgaard with the collaboration of Marc Goehring (stylist) and Ryan Chappell (movement director), transforms Giorgio Armani’s vision, his idea of simplicity as efficiency in metropolitan dressing, into a tangible and visible feature.
There is nothing superfluous in the images and video directed by Samuel Stephenson: just the individuals, what they are wearing – clothes but equally glasses, accessories, watches – and the light. A light that recalls car headlights, club lighting or big city streets. Direct and pulsating, like the A|X spirit condensed into a wardrobe of easy-to-wear, universal, fast-paced pieces worn by a varied and energetic cast and captured in these images.
